A 42 year old journalist who reported on the terrible nature of New Yuvon's malice. After the corrupt New Yuvon government framed the New Yuvon News Crew for an attempted bombing of council chambers, most of his crew were rounded up and executed in a purge that targeted several enemies of the old council.
Unbeknownst to him, three of his allies (including Mina Songda) escaped and obtained plastic surgery from Dr. Lisa Germaine at Drifter's Inn before returning to apply for new jobs as propagandists -- covertly printing an anti-government paper on the side.
Bob simply went to ground, covered himself up in layers of clothing, and never stopped moving until after becoming infected with the Omega Strain and joining the rangers.
He now functions as a liaison between the rangers and the Seekers.
